Hello and welcome to Femme, a brand new blog brought to you by Alyssa (used to be at hushstar.net/aly). On here I will blog about all sorts of things ranging from my everyday life, music, TV shows, books, design, decor, etc. Unfortunately Lien closed down her domain while I was on hiatus, but now I'm back with a brand new domain. This blog will venture away from all the "cuteness", although a little bit now and then is to be expected, of course! First posts are always a little awkward LOL but anyway, I hope you guys find it interesting...


I'm leaving off to college in a few weeks and I've been looking at a lot of websites for inspiration. I ran across some great images on Pearson Lyle's website..

I'm always torn between styles because on one hand, I really like the whole vintage, cozy feel, but I also like the modern clean-line style as well. For dorms however, since they're already foreign and away from home, I'd rather have a more cozy feel to it. These photos above will really inspire the look of my dorm for next year. If anyone has other ideas/images for inspiration, please leave a comment below!
