Current Wants...

Alisa Oxfords by Cole Haan - These shoes are so beautiful! I love the beige/tan with neon trend so much, I'm super excited about it! These babies are pretty expensive, but I hope to find similar ones for a more reasonable price..

Dip-dyed bleached shorts with studs - I'm a big fan of the bleached shorts trend..yes I'm a bit late but I really love how the color fades, and the studs are super cute! I'm a bit obsessed with high-waisted shorts nowadays, since it's so hot lately. I took a visit to my local thrift store and found some pretty cool high-waisted jeans that I will transform into shorts. I think I'll bleach them on the bottom like these, and i'll possibly add the studs if I find them! Hopefully this project will be done pretty soon..

Ombre hair - I'm suuuuper late on this, but recently I've been obsessed with the idea of dyeing my hair like this! It's a little risky since I have virgin hair, but I definitely want to do this before I move. I talked to my mom about it, since she's the one with all the dyeing expertise, lol. She said she could do it (instead of wasting $400 at a salon), but she's going to use a non-permanent dye that will fade in 28 washes. I'd rather do this since I'm super anti-commitment when it comes to my hair! I'm very excited about it, I might post up a picture here once it's done. 

As for the healing process of my boobs (lol), it's been good. We took the bandages off and I FINALLY washed my hair and took a shower. Lately I've been trying on stuff like crazy to see how different everything looks, and it's such a big change! Clothes fit me much better and I have way more variety in my outfits. Overall, this has been great. Happy Friday guys!! xo

5 Days Post-Op

Hi everyone..it's been 5 days since my breast reduction and all I can say is it's been tough. I've been in a lot of pain the past couple of days which is why I haven't been able to post/update. The surgery itself went pretty smooth. I got to the center at about 8:30 am, by 10:45 the surgeon got there, put in my IV and in a few hours I woke up, with lots of nausea (threw up like 6 times). When I got home I was in a loooot of pain, but my surgeon prescribed me some Vicodin, which is basically Tylenol with some codeine. SO..I've been alright, those first 3 days were pretty rough though. It's pretty gross but I haven't exactly taken a real shower because I can't get the bandages wet, so I've been bathing the bottom half of my body and just using a washcloth for the top half. My hair is also super oily...so I really cannot wait till I take these bandages off Thursday, although my mom warned me it would be really painful. I'm still very excited.

As for the actual size of my boobs, they're decent! I don't know if I will actually be a B cup as I expected, but then again I think they are still swollen from the operation. So i'll keep my fingers crossed! They feel like they're....extra perky right now? My surgeon said they would drop eventually, haha. It just feels super weird right now, I just can't wait till I can wear cute shirts/bras/bathing suits :)

This is pretty much it for now, hopefully i'll start working on the material section again soon once I get flexibility in my arms again, it's hard to type as it is hehe. Happy Tuesday xo

Update!

I really love all white rooms! If I could redecorate my room right now, I'd probably paint it white and get white bedding as well. It's a very calming look. The chandelier/lamp is also very cool, I've seen some like it at Ikea for a very good price. 

A few days has passed since my last entry, and as usual I haven't been up to much. I did a little college dorm shopping on Saturday and I have to say it was pretty successful. I'll take some pictures and post them tomorrow for you guys. 

Today I got some bloodwork done for my surgery, which will be this Thursday. I can't believe how fast all of this is happening, considering people usually wait months for this surgery! It's mostly because of insurance reasons, but we decided to pay it in full because it's something I really need and I can't really afford to wait since I will be starting college already. I want to be a B Cup, so I'll keep my fingers crossed! In the meantime, i'll be drooling over bathing suits and bras that I'll finally be able to wear. 

These past few days I've been listening to a lot of grunge/punk rock, mostly Nirvana and Joy Division. I don't know what inspired this to be honest, but I'm glad because it's really great music. If you have the chance, I really suggest getting some of their albums. You won't regret it.

Game of Thrones (spoilers!)

I found this really funny video on college humor about Game of Thrones, and I had to post it! It does have spoilers though, so if you plan to watch the show from the beginning, don't watch. It's basically a rundown of the seasons in very simplified terms, LOL. 

I'm going away to college in about a month, and as usual I've been wasting my time. I haven't gotten any textbooks and I haven't finished reading the book we were supposed to, so I'm very behind. I just can't bring myself to do anything lately except watch Mad Men (I'm super late, I know)..I hope I get out of this little slump soon. 

I might be getting surgery in a few days to reduce the size of my breasts. I've always been very uncomfortable with them, as I'm very short. The procedure is only two hours long, but recovery from the surgery is a bit complicated under my circumstances. I'm supposed to do very little physical activity after the surgery, but I'm moving a few weeks after. Also, I gain weight very easily so I don't know what I'll do without exercising! I guess healthy clean eating is the only way out of that, so only fruits and veggies and lots of protein. I'm sure everything will go well, and it'll be easier shopping for clothes and bras so I'm very excited about it. 

In the meantime I will probably waste more time doodling on Photoshop, happy Thursday everyone! xo

Mad Men Madness

Okay, so I've been watching Mad Men a lot this summer, and I just cannot get over how handsome Jon Hamm is in this show! It's pretty much all I've been watching, and it's safe to say it's not that hard to get addicted to it ;) The show takes place in 1960's New York City in an advertising agency called Sterling Cooper, when advertising was still a glamorous profession. It mainly follows the life of Don Draper (played by Jon Hamm), and reveals his mysterious past. If you have Netflix, I highly suggest you start watching it from the beginning! You will not regret it. However, I suggest only watching it if you're over the age of 16, as there's a lot of mature content.
